Policy engine (PE)

NIST SP 800-207. Ultimate grant / deny / revoke via a trust algorithm. House name: Ikaros.

Policy administrator (PA)

NIST SP 800-207. Executes the PE decision and commands the PEP on the control plane. House name: AEGIS kernel.

PDP

Policy decision point = PE + PA. Ikaros + AEGIS. Not a third product.

PEP

Policy enforcement point. Enable, monitor, terminate the session on the data plane. House: Edge PEPs. Zero Trust.

Control plane / data plane

800-207: PE/PA talk to PEPs on the control plane. Subject-to-resource traffic is the data plane. Mapping: 800-207.

Data sources

800-207 feeds into the PE. CISA Visibility and Analytics. Untrusted, enrolled, WAN, PQC/CBOM, ATT&CK evidence — not sister SKUs. QFC fuses them.

Dual plane

Two PEP classes: untrusted admission is never enrolled workforce. 800-207 never trusts by network location. Not a wireless SKU.

Ikaros

Fuses 800-207 data sources onto one schema before the trust algorithm. Not a second engine.

ENGINE PATH

PDE

Predictive Decisiveness Engine: ranks options, proposes acts, journals decisions under policy gates.

CEP-Rank

Kind: classical / rules + scored correlation on fused signals. Not a trained classifier. LLM narrates only — never ranks. Full card: CEP-Rank.

HUMAN_ONLY / AUTO_SAFE

HUMAN_ONLY is the live default. AUTO_SAFE is off. Design-intention FP/rollback numbers live on Govern and are not measured pilot data.

QUANTUM / quantum-facing

PQC, HNDL, CBOM as signals into QFC — not a quantum computer in the rank path, not “quantum-level AI.”

AEGIS Guide

Walks the ENGINE PATH on this origin. Same name as the kernel. Not the weights. Not a PEP.

AEGIS Kernel

House name for the 800-207 policy administrator (PA). Receives CEP-Rank, applies HUMAN_ONLY / AUTO_SAFE / DENY, writes the journal, commands the PEP.
